Lynette M. Loomis, MA, MBA, APR, Certified
Coach
There are two aspects of my coaching – business coaching
and life coaching - and I draw upon my career and life experience
in the service of my coaching clients.
Business ownership
Through my ownership of several businesses I have had to focus
on the time management challenge of working “at” the
business versus working “on” the business. I also have
managed my finances through periods of start-up, growth, short-term
reversals of fortune and success. I have strategized the expansion
of my business as well as narrowed the scope of my work and defined
what I do best, what I have a passion to do, and when I need to
call in other topical experts.
Executive
and management issues
From a mental health therapist to vice president of marketing and
marketing services for a $600 million health plan, I have led or
managed small organizations and large teams of diverse professionals.
I have been involved with change management, process improvement,
operations, team building, supervision and staff development, strategic
planning, marketing, board relations, product development, training,
brand management, and experienced the challenges associated with
rapid growth, diminished revenues and staff reductions, geographic
expansion and corporate mergers.
Consulting
My client list continues to be varied and what I learn in working
with clients from consumer goods, health care, education, professional
services and manufacturing broadens the knowledge I can share with
my clients.
Does all this mean I understand everything about your business?
No. But it does suggest that I have a broad range of business experience
and insight upon which to draw in our work together.
Life Experience
I have evolved from doing everything I thought I was “supposed
to do” to creating a life where my unique talents are unleashed
in the service of people who want to reach their fullest potential
and feel passion for their life – be it work, family, or community.
I do know that by being clear about what you really want from your
life, crafting a plan to achieve your goals, committing to change
and working with an insightful coach who both challenges and congratulates,
you can achieve success that you may have thought was out of your
grasp.
What am I like as a person? My clients have used many terms - energetic,
passionate, optimistic but not naïve, creative, intuitive,
funny, intelligent, resilient, multidimensional and an unusual mix
of a corporate executive and an earth mother. One comment stands
out, “You saw in me things I didn’t see in myself.”
